Wanted: smaller breed female pup or young dog

Hi, I’m looking for a smaller breed female dog to be a companion to my three year old male chihuahua terrier mix. (He is neutered, but a bit on the alpha side and I don’t know how he’d get along with another male). My older female dog passed away in July and he has been very lonely. I’m willing to travel a reasonable distance and pay a reasonable rehoming fee. (No, I will not send you a cash “deposit” before I’ve met the dog, so don’t ask, scammers.) Any addition to our home will be loved and spoiled. I own my own home with a large yard and a fenced in area for my pets. My pets are indoor pets and treated like family. I have the one small dog and two cats. Please let me know if you have a dog that might be a good fit. Thank you.
