Gold Star Irrigation/Southern Green Lawn Care is seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team in the greater Jacksonville, FL area. The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years of irrigation experience with the ability to troubleshoot and fix commercial and residential sprinkler systems. However, we will train the right candidate. Responsibilities include: - Repair of irrigation systems with a solid working knowledge of the system - Understanding of all types of irrigation configurations and components to include: valves, solenoids, timer controls, sprays, rotors, etc - Wire tracking - Ensure all irrigation jobs are completed timely and to the customer's satisfaction and specifications Requirements include: - Clean driving record and updated driver's license - 2 years minimum hands on experience in the inspection and repair of irrigation systems is preferred, but will train the right candidate - Working knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing are also essential - Able to lift/push/carry/move up to 50 lbs - Able to work outside in the varied weather conditions of Florida What we offer: - Health and Dental benefits - Paid time off and paid holidays - All job-specific equipment and safety gear provided
