Description

Starts Sunday, March 20th (Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for six weeks) Starts Sunday, March 20th (Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for six weeks) Participants will learn basic fabrication techniques such as piercing, forming, soldering, hollow forms and surface finishing. There will be demonstrations on stone setting techniques for rings & pendants. Discussions will include applying the principles of design to jewelry making and how to improve craftsmanship. This class is open to beginners & intermediate metalsmiths.  Fee does not include materials. The $35 materials kit can be purchased directly from the instructor. The kit includes sterling silver components. Additional materials can be purchased separately. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.   NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building.
