Mars Motel is a dream-rock band from Brooklyn, NY with an immersive sound encompassing 1990’s Brit-pop, early 2000’s NYC rock scene, and--most recently--a cosmic dreamscape sound that echoes notes of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and The War on Drugs. With live music halted in 2020, we moved to a duo studio project, and spent most of last year recording in NYC and LA. Now that things are starting to open up again, (hopefully for good), we are looking to rebuild our live band! We were playing very often from 2017-2019, selling out venues like Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom & and even got to play at Firefly Festival. We are looking for a very talented, unique & versatile drummer and another highly skilled guitarist / keyboard player who is interested in joining this project for the long run. Ideally, we will start rehearing and playing the current music and then begin to work on new music together. We are looking for musicians who think as songwriters first.
