A Black Girl/Black Boy Conversation A BGR, Inc. Black Girl Think Tank Event For girls and boys ages 13-18 ▪ Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks ▪ Dialogue with Peers ▪ Performing Arts ▪ Respect ▪ Friendship, Romance, and Relationships ▪ How sexism affects girl/boy relationships ▪ Colorism, body shaming, and boundaries ▪ What do boys really think about girls? Event sponsored by Black Girl Rising, Inc. and the ADAMH Board of Franklin County. I will attend the Get Woke With Us Conversation (GWWU) sponsored by Black Girl Rising, Inc. (BGR) and MPA – UBUNTU Leadership Institute (ULI), on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 9:30 until 3:00 at the Griffin Student Center, Ohio Dominican University, Alumni Hall, Columbus Ohio. I understand that BGR and ULI, and their partners and / or sponsors are not liable for illness, accidents or injuries that may occur at the GWWU. In the event I cannot be reached to make arrangements for emergency medical care at the time of illness, accident or injuries, I authorize BGR to take my child to the nearest hospital with emergency care. The BGR Covid-19 policy REQUIRES masks to be worn at all times, with the exception of eating, for all in-person events. Masks should be worn covering both the nose and mouth. Fresh masks will be provided for all attendees. Hand sanitation products will be available, and attendees are requested to frequently sanitize their hands. Where possible, refreshments will be individually wrapped/boxed with no shared utensils. I grant permission to BGR and ULI and its agents and employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to reproduce the photographs and/or video images taken of me, for the purpose of publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium. I hereby release BGR and ULI and its legal representatives for all claims and liability relating to said images or video. Furthermore. I grant permission to use any of my comments or statements that were provided during program sessions, with or without my name, for the purpose of advertising and publicity without restriction. I waive my right to any compensation.
