Hear the story of how the son of a Ghostbuster made an Ancestral Return to Ghana, where he became a Chief. Main Street Wooster is proud to recognize Black History Month with a program to honor our forebears. Our presenter is not only from a from a notable family (he is the son of actor Ernie Hudson [most widely known for his role in Ghostbusters] & Dr. Jeannie L. Hudson, Ph.D.), but he has also made an Ancestral Return after connecting with DNA cousins in Frankadua, Ghana. There, he was adopted (back) into the royal family and made Deputy to the Regent & Chief of Youth. He will speak on family reconnection, reconciliation, and reclamation via DNA, among Diasporan & Continental Africans everywhere. While his narrative will center on his own adventure in reclaiming his heritage, his experience will inspire everyone who wants to know more about who they are and where they came from.
