Craft Beer for Babes - all experience and knowledge levels welcome! Laughter, Knowledge, and Confidence is CBU's approach to the world of craft beer. Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a lager and an ale? What about all of those acronyms like ABV and IBU? Are you for certain that you wouldn’t like a beer that is dark in color? Maybe you’re a wine connoisseur looking to expand your horizons with Colorado’s signature beverage? Does the rich variety of craft beer seem overwhelming? Or simply, you are just curious about which beer pairs best with an English Stilton cheese? Do you have questions about the craft beer industry or beer in general? If so, join Laura Bruns of Craft Beer Uncovered and attend any or all of this 3 part series, designed specifically for babes, who are interested in learning more about craft beer. Sessions are accessible, approachable, and FUN while getting a proper introduction to the great world of craft beer. The first class (Feb)will focus on craft beer lingo, the four main ingredients of beer, common abbreviations (ABV, IBU) and defining and refining your palate. Class 2 (Mar) and 3 (Apr) will delve deeper into the nuances of styles, history, proper glassware for different styles, pairing food with beer, and womxn in the craft beer industry, etc.  Consider signing up for all 3 sessions at a discounted rate!  **All classes taught by a woman in the industry.
