MICHIGAN — More than 11,000 Michiganders have died from the coronavirus, according to data released by state health officials Wednesday. Michigan reported 83 additional COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday, bringing the coronavirus death toll in the state to 11,018. The state also reported 4,037 new cases of the coronavirus, growing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Michigan to 446,752. On Saturday, Michigan health officials said that 236,369 people in Michigan had recovered from the coronavirus. Nearly 313,000 COVID-19 deaths have been reported across the nation, while the number of recoveries from the virus has surpassed 10 million.
