The Assistant Company has been hired by a prominent family seeking a meticulous and stellar Handyman/ Groundskeeper / Maintenance Person to spearhead all operations and upkeep of Palm Beach property. This is a hands-on (and OUTDOOR) position; this person will not just supervise vendors but work alongside them to ensure the home is always in pristine working conditions. There will be daily/weekly/monthly task lists to preform and follow. This candidate will work independently, be a self-starter and can multitask to oversee a myriad of responsibilities and an ever-changing list of priorities. Again, this is a hands-on position, meaning the Principals are hoping to find someone who can actually do the maintenance on the property or work along side the vendors. They aren't looking for someone to point and supervise the vendor. *Must be Covid vaccinated *LOCAL to the position - someone who has resided in Miami for 5 plus years and who has a great understanding of the weather and what needs to be done during specific seasons. *This isn't an estate manager position (they already have an estate manager). This position requires someone with extensive knowledge of overall home maintenance: HVAC, pool systems, smart home systems, etc. Duties/Responsibilities/Expectations: *This role requires someone who is hands on, and always in problem solving mode. *Owners appreciate their privacy; therefore, scheduling timelines with vendors will be of the upmost importance. *The candidate must have home maintenance skills, and overall knowledge of home systems *Act as point of contact for owners. Communicate with the EA providing updates on household activity, scheduled maintenance, repairs, and overall movement on and within the property. *Preform daily/weekly/monthly/annual task lists and procedures. *Working with EA to prepare realistic plans to address needs and conduct regular and frequent walkthroughs of daily checklist *Holiday and event set up/take down Requirements: *The ideal candidate is local in the Palm Beach area *Overall home maintenance knowledge- HVAC, pool systems, smartHome systems, etc. *Available to work as needed 40-50 hrs/week, Mon - Fri with rare weekend hours depending on events. *Candidate must have proven longevity and experience in a similar position *Excellent English and communication skills *Total discretion *Highly organized, attention to detail *Reserved, yet casual, work quietly and professionally *Legal to work in the U.S.
