Take a workday break with an invigorating walk and some complimentary sweet treats, hot drinks, and good conversation. Experience this Swedish tradition right here in Arlington with WalkArlington. Join us for a Fika! In Sweden, Fika is a beloved workday ritual. It’s all about slowing down, relaxing with your colleagues, and enjoying some good food, coffee, and conversation. You have two options, one at 11 a.m. and one at 3 p.m.—which will be preceded by an invigorating, 30-minute walk around Ballston. We love Ballston because it's a great neighborhood that is easy to get around on foot, whether you’re running errands or commuting. After our walk, we’ll return to the park to have hot drinks and classic doughnuts courtesy of Good Company Doughnuts & Café before heading back to the office. Getting here: Ballston is easily accessible by Metro, bus, or active transportation (walking, biking, bikeshare). The walk will start at Welburn Square, which is located between N Taylor St and N Stuart Street, south of the Ballston Metro exit. Look for our WalkArlington table.
