Description
Rev invites the community for an evening dedicated to networking and showcasing the progress of entrepreneurs in its Hardware Accelerator. Today’s hardware entrepreneurs are focused on developing physical product solutions to improve the lives of consumers—think 3D printed prosthetics—as well as addressing some of the most pressing issues facing the world. This is especially true within the clean energy and agri-food sectors, where climate change is presenting serious challenges to the environment and people across the globe. With advances in prototyping tools and technologies, and the rise of crowdfunding, hardware entrepreneurship is experiencing a revival. Entrepreneurs around the world are finding it easier to actualize their plans for physical products faster and more efficiently than ever before. Rev: Ithaca Startup Works invites the entrepreneurial community to come together for an evening dedicated to networking and showcasing the innovations of hardware entrepreneurs from its Prototyping Hardware Accelerator and Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator. Engage in socially distanced and masked mingling over local food and beverages (single serve for safety) while enjoying quick pitches from Rev’s hardware entrepreneurs and tabling of their physical products. Information on Rev’s hardware program offerings, including its new prototyping tracks tailored to ClimateTech and AgTech innovation will also be shared at the event.
