Annual Achievement Gala and Scholarship Dinner The proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit public service programs designed to have a positive impact on the people of Fairfield County by executing and supporting community-based programs supporting our youth, and providing ongoing support of local social and health awareness programs for Fairfield County residents. Please consider supporting this event through ticket sales, a donation, or a sponsorship. You can accomplish all three by registering here. This is an important opportunity to give back to the community, help deserving students attain their educational goals, and be recognized year-long for your generous sponsorship in our publicity for our community programs. Following is a brief overview of our organization, accompanied by additional information about our programs, and donation/sponsorship opportunities: Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is the 2nd oldest existing collegiate historically Black Greek Letter Fraternity and the 1st intercollegiate fraternity incorporated as a national body. Our founding principle is “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.” For the last 45 years, the Stamford (CT) Alumni Chapter has consistently supported community programming and awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships and educational support to students and schools across Fairfield County. Sponsor level contributors will be acknowledged in our 2021 publications attached to our community programs like: Guide Right The National Service program of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is targeted to provide educational, social, and occupational guidance to youth; primarily inspirational and informative in character. The purpose is to place the training experience and friendly interest of successful men at the disposal of youth needing inspiration and counsel. Kappa League A thriving youth leadership development program that assists boys in goal setting and planning for their future. Importantly, this development program is intended to provide foundational skills for high school, college, and ultimately to help them become productive young men in today’s competitive world. NSBE Jr. Pre-College Initiative The Pre-College Initiative is designed to stimulate their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematical fields (STEM). The goal is to encourage students in grades K-12 to attend college and pursue technical degrees. The Stamford Alumni Foundation is partnering with Sikorsky, Bridgeport Youth Sports (BOYS Inc), Sacred Heart University, and Housatonic Community College on this important initiative. In addition to the above-mentioned programs, we will host our annual Achievement Weekend, and execute at Golf Outing Fundraiser in 2021. Again, proceeds from this event will benefit our Guide Right, Kappa League as well as other community-based programs that mentor children, and enhance the lives of the Greater Fairfield County residents. Stamford Alumni Diamond Foundation, Inc. was established in 2002 as a 501c3 non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization.
