Black Maternal Health : Telling Our Stories is an event for listening to and gaining insight from Black birth workers in our community. There is a pressing need to address Black Maternal Health in the world of birth professionals. Black Maternal Health : Telling Our Stories is an event for listening to and gaining insight from Black birth workers in our community. Ja'Nisha Beal, Jaquanda Capers, Melissa Hall, Natima Alexander and Taylor Banks will be sharing stories of their experiences in this field. Traditionally prepared food will be provided by Asha Hernandez Bailey of Cocina Cura. On Sunday, February 27th at 4:30pm, this event will be hosted in-person at Trinity UMC in Fort Wayne, IN and via ZOOM. ZOOM links will be sent via email to all individuals with tickets. In-person space + meals are limited so please grab your ticket as soon as possible. Suggested donation of at least $20 per ticket is requested for all participants. 100% of money collected will be going to the speakers + food preparation.
