Valentine's Day Speed Dating in NYC. It's a fun SpeedDating event where you'll meet other singles with 10 to 15 speed dates. You will get a match card and at the end of each mini date you'll indicate whether or not you'd like to see the person again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address the next day so you can set up a future date! At this event you will be going on between 8 and 15 mini dates lasting about six minutes each (we lengthen or shorten the date time according to how many people attend). Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman. Speed dating is an organized social event that allows a single person to meet many other single people at once rather than just going on a date with one person. Men and women are rotated to meet each other over a series of short "dates" usually lasting from three to eight minutes depending on the organization running the event. At the end of each interval, the organizer rings a bell, clinks a glass, or blows a whistle to signal the participants to move on to the next date.
