Come join the team at Juneau Composts, Juneau's premier recycling service and soil builder! Four days a week hauling and processing compost. Half the day is doing collections via truck and the other half is processing the material by skid steer at our facility. Work independently, get in a groove, and be part of a positive change for the community. Must have a clean driving record. (no accidents in past three years.) Experience driving a truck is preferred, but we will train the right person for all aspects of the job. Must love independent, outdoor work in all kinds of Juneau weather. Pay depends on performance, not experience. Starts @ $17-20/hr. Earn paid time off, bonuses, and raises after each 6 months of work. It's a very physical and rewarding job, and we reward hard work and commitment as much as our small business is able.
