POSITION TITLECustodianREPORTS TOCustodial ManagerWORK LOCATIONSitka Fine Arts CampusFLSA STATUSNon-exempt EMPLOYMENT CATEGORYRegular, full-time SUMMARYSitka Fine Arts Camp’s (SFAC’s) custodian maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors to the Sitka Fine Arts Campus, ensuring all areas are safe.ESSENTIAL DUTIESCleans and sanitizes bathrooms.Cleans, mops, washes, buffs and vacuums floors.Empties trash.Maintains outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways.Cleans and polishes fixtures.Removes recycling materials.Cleans windows.Dusts and vacuums furniture.Laundry.Housekeeping in rooms (making beds, cleaning, taking out trash, etc)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAbility and willingness to provide courteous service to all campus usersExperience in custodial workREQUIRED COMPETENCIESThoroughnessReliability Good time management WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
