Description
Discover some interesting history about our town and have some fun! Join Cub Scout Pack 202 as we seek out some Bethel History! We might need to take a photo near a historic bridge or a flood marker, or we may have to ask questions of someone who knows about a piece of history personally... Join us as we learn about our town! Instructor(s):Cub Scout Pack 202 Leaders: Dominic Yetz, Pack 202 Cubmaster; Dave Crosby, Pack 202 Den Leader; Will Wheeler, Pack 202 Den Leader [email protected] Instructor Bio: Cub Scout Pack 202 was chartered in 2019 by the Bethel Rotary Club. Organized by a group of local parents, Pack 202 provides a positive and supportive environment for elementary-school-aged boys and girls to have fun while developing their character and learning practical skills. In the Scout Oath the scouts pledge to do their duty to country, and that can start by learning about their community. We’ll have a good time finding out fun facts about the town of Bethel and we'll share what we all learn. All Pack 202 Cub Scout Leaders are experienced working with kids and are trained in youth protection by the BSA. Number of Sessions: This group meets one time. Materials to Have Prepared: Families/participants may choose to drive to different locations in town to complete the scavenger hunt. A phone to snap a photo may be helpful. Restrictions or Requirements: All ages are welcome. Elementary-aged and younger kids must be accompanied by an adult. Driving or walking around town, may be required. Bethel University Vermont (BU) is a free community pop-up university based in Bethel, Vermont and created by the Bethel Revitalization Initiative. We offer free courses by the community, for the community, during the month of March each year. Learn more about Bethel University and check out more free course listings at betheluniversityvt.org.
