Afraid to fall sport climbing? Fears of whipping? How about not trusting the equipment or belay? We will talk and practice taking whips! Join the American Alpine Club's Chicago Chapter for a Whipper Clinic at First Ascent Avondale and learn how to manage your fear when taking lead falls! NOTE: you must be lead certified at First Ascent to participate in this clinic. A practical portion of the clinic will involve taking lead falls. $15 for AAC Members. $20 for Non-AAC Members. All proceeds go towards the AAC Chicago Chapter for equipment used in clinics and future activities. Limited space available, so sign up today and come take a whip with us! Entry into FA is required.
