2022 Medina County Women's Conference: "Seek Knowledge, Have Heart, Be Bold"
The Medina County Women’s Conference will be held Tuesday, March 29th from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Braden Keller Community Center in Castroville. The conference is noted as the premier event planned especially for women of Medina and surrounding counties. We will have some excellent presentations for attendees, as well as a fashion show and catered lunch. Conference presenters include: Kim Kerley: Having spent much of her teens homeless, Kim has seen things in life that many never see. She has chosen to find the funny in those situations. Kim is a school counselor at Alamo Heights, stand-up comedian, motivational speaker and recently played the role of Principal Leigh in the movie; Teenage Girl Skip Day. Australian born, Lisa Mills is a nationally known comedian, motivational speaker and author. The title of her latest book; “Lord, Did I Really Shave My Legs For This” gives insight into her humor. There will be other notable speakers on health and wellness topics, along with a performance from the Alsatian Dancers and the announcement of "2022 Woman of Courage" award recipient. In addition to the conference features: Silent auction with proceeds benefiting San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind.
