Meeting the Mental Health Needs of Students: From Advocacy to Intervention Come join the School Social Work Association of Arizona for a day of connection and knowledge building. This year, our conference will be held at the lovely Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. The day will start at 7am with Registration and Breakfast, then move into Welcome, Awards, and Keynote Address. There will be opportunity to attend 3 breakout sessions and Networking. Lunch will also be served! Key Note Address: Remembering Jake and Mitch Join us for a conversation with special guests Senator Bowie, Lorie Warnock, Denise and Ben Machovsky, parents and advocates for the Mitch Warnock Act and Jake's Law. The keynote address will discuss how school social workers can best support legislative advocacy efforts, support mental health enacted legislation most effectively, and work with parents in addressing the mental health needs of students.
