We are excited to bring this conference to Southern Illinois! Professional Development & Resources for Families. Sessions include: Challenging Behaviors, Supported Decision Making, IEP Rights, Evidence-Based Strategies that help students with ASD remain in the regular education classroom, Transiton from High School to Adult, Illinois Autism Insurance Coaltion and more. Every participant will receive a certificate of attendance. Teachers can use this certificate to earn professional development points (PDPs). Our sponsors are essential to our organization and the conference. We are a local affiliate of Autism Society of America. We provide family sensory friendly events to families living with autism here in Southern Illinois. Mostly free of charge largely because of people like you who support our fundraisers.  We are all volunteers so there are no paid positions in our chapter and 100% of the funds raised go to programming.  Some of the things we have been able to help with are Equine Therapy, Swim Lessons, Sensory Play Days, Sensory Friendly Science Center Days, Sensory Friendly Movies, Buddy Baseball, Autism Family Day, Law Enforcement Training, Workshops and many more.
