Please join us for the Athens State University Foundation Scholarship Reception and Alumni Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Athens State University Foundation Scholarship Reception and Alumni Awards Ceremony On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, the Office of University Advancement, in conjunction with the Athens State University Alumni Association, will host a Scholarship Reception and Alumni Awards ceremony in Carter Gymnasium. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:00 pm. All are cordially invited to join us as we honor the past, present, and future students of Athens State University. Please RSVP by Monday, February 28. --- FAQs Where is Carter Gym located? The gym is located off Pryor Street. A campus map can be accessed here: https://www.athens.edu/about/campus/maps-and-directions/. May I bring a guest? Yes, all are invited to share in the festivities. Is there an admission fee? No. Admission is complimentary; however, RSVPs are required by Monday, February 28. What is the attire? Attire is business professional. Suggestions for men are a suit; jacket and slacks; or button-up shirt with slacks. Suggestions for women are a dress; suit; or slacks with a blouse. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No. All ages are welcome. Who is being honored? Foundation scholarship recipients, supporters of the Athens State University Foundation, and the 2022 Alumni Award Recipients.  Where can I park? Handicap parking is directly in front of Carter Gymnasium with the ramp on the east side of the building. Additional parking is available on the west side of the gym, in front of the Classroom Building, and beside Kares Library.  How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
