Visit the City of Harrisburg for a free festival featuring 58 ice sculptures, fire dancers, a giant ice slide, fire pits & smores & more!
The City of Harrisburg presents the M&T Bank Ice & Fire Festival on Saturday, March 5! The event will feature 58 large and small ice sculptures throughout the City in locations such as City Island, Downtown, Midtown, Shipoke, Italian Lake and Reservoir Park. The sculptures will be illuminated from 7-9pm and there will be an ice sculpture scavenger hunt for the chance to win prizes from City businesses.
There will also be a free street festival along Front Street from Walnut to Liberty Streets from 11am-8pm featuring an ice slide, fire dancers, live ice carving, fire pits and smores, performances by local school and community groups, free face painting & balloon animals, DIY glass icicle workshops, Urban Churn's Frozen Inferno Spicy Ice Cream Challenge, food trucks, vendors and more. There will be City-wide coffee, cocoa & cocktail specials, horse-drawn carriage rides on City Island and family fun activities at participating businesses.
