Get ready for the upcoming season and learn about javelin mechanics and throwing technique from USA #1 ranked and Olympian, Curtis Thompson! This clinic is designed to get athletes ready for the upcoming high school season and club track season. Olympian, Curtis Thompson and USATF coach and Hoover High School throws coach, Joey Longoria, will teach techniques that every thrower, from beginner to college bound athletes, can take away and throw farther! The instruction will cover proper warmup and stretching to avoid injury and be primed to perform, drills to incorporate into your weekly training, and critique on the runway with a series of throws, and close out with friendly competition. This camp is loaded with information and will be beneficial for athletes, coaches, and parents!
