Join This is Alabama in recognizing and celebrating the 2022 class of Women Who Shape the State. Women Who Shape the State will honor 26 of the most powerful women in Alabama who are making a difference in their own unique ways. The program at Birmingham’s The Club will feature music by Nordic Fire and a keynote address by Alabama’s Poet Laureate Ashley Jones. Ms. Jones is a Birmingham native and the youngest person to ever have the title. Honorees and guests will be treated to a 3-course luncheon followed by a program hosted by AL.com’s Lauren Sisler and Ivana Hyrnkiw.
