Deadly Thanksgiving Shooting Reported In Wayne County: MSP

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — A man was killed in a shooting in Wayne County on Thanksgiving, the Michigan State Police said late Thursday. According to troopers, police were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. to the 1500 block of Meadow Lane in Inkster for the deadly shooting. A preliminary police investigation found that the victim — who has not been identified — was shot by an unknown suspect in a vehicle, police said. The victim, a man, died at a local hospital, police said. Police said additional information would be released as the investigation continued.
