Description
ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police have reopened westbound traffic on Encinal Avenue following a crash involving a pedestrian. Traffic was blocked for several hours as police conducted their investigation.
Earlier reports were that an elderly woman was seriously injured. There is not update on her condition.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation. The cause of the crash has not been determined.
Encinal was initially reported by police to be closed between Walnut and Willow streets, but that was expanded to between Oak and Willow.
