Press release from the Suffolk County Government: February 6, 2022 Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on February 6, 2022. Last updated February 5, 2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Information 1,200,376 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 484. 1,079,442 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 831. 93.6% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose. 73.6% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated. 85.0% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated. 77.8% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated. 42.6% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose. Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended.
