Press release from City School District of Albany: February 8, 2022 We would like to share the following events and resources from our community partners that we have added to our workforce development website. The Sisters in the Brotherhood is a pre-apprentice program offered through the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund (NASCTF). Sisters in the Brotherhood is to provide access to carpentry for women who would like to consider it as a career option. Virtual information sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 10, March 24 and April 7. A division of Hudson Valley Community College and part of the State University of New York, the EOC offers tuition-free academic and workforce development opportunities to disadvantaged and educationally under-prepared New York residents. NASCTF provides general resources for those interested in pursuing an apprenticeship in carpentry.
