Denton County Public Health (DCPH) announced 1,774 new COVID-19 cases, of which 1,769 are active cases. This increases the cumulative, countywide total to 168,469 COVID-19 cases. DCPH also reported 171 newly recovered cases of COVID-19, increasing the countywide recovery total to 112,984. Beginning today, daily COVID-19 press releases will include positive at-home antigen cases that have been verified by DCPH. Today's initial report includes 265 at-home antigen cases.
To minimize spread of COVID-19, DCPH urges community members to:
Get vaccinated and boosted when eligible Wear well-fitting masks in public indoor settings Test five days after exposure or if you have symptoms of COVID-19 Isolate, quarantine, and wear a mask when recommended For local COVID-19 vaccine information, including booster and third doses, visit DCPH's COVID-19 vaccine page.
