Description
PITTSBURGH, PA — A city police officer was injured early Tuesday while responding to a domestic-related 911 call in the 7000 block of Apple Street in Lincoln-Larimer.
When officers arrived on the scene shortly after 3 a.m., they could hear an argument occurring inside the residence. A male spoke with police on the front porch before shoving an officer and causing a wrist injury during a fall.
A second officer arrested the man.
A woman with a head wound was found inside the home. She was taken to a local hospital and reported in stable condition.
The injured officer was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect was taken to the Allegheny County Jail. Charges are pending, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
