ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Once again, the majority of Alameda County voters opted for the Democratic presidential candidate over President Donald J. Trump. The president was so unpopular here, in fact, that Alameda County was ranked as the California county with the third-most support for President-elect Joe Biden, according to a CalMatters analysis of "the Trumpiest and most anti-Trump counties." There are 58 counties in California. Biden was leading in Alameda County with 80 percent of the vote, according to the latest batch of election results released last week. Trump received 18 percent, while various third-party candidates received a combined 2 percent. The Trumpiest county in California was Lassen County, which also had the highest percentage of Trump votes in 2016, CalMatters reported. Lassen County is farther north, situated against the California-Nevada border. Where did Biden get the most love? San Francisco had the highest percentage of votes for the president-elect.
