Virtual College 101 Event Planned For VVSD Families

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Valley View School District's departments of family and community engagement and college, career and life readiness have teamed with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund to host a virtual college 101 event for high school students, the district said in a release. The virtual event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 19. The district said the event is a bilingual webinar for high school students and their families and provides information about preparing, planning and paying for a college education. Students and parents of all ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to attend, the district said. The virtual event is free, but space is limited. You can RSVP online.
