Here are the top 4 stories in Scottsdale today: KTAR reporting said that Scottsdale Police are "working to find the killer of a 'beloved' member of the city's Special Olympics and adaptive recreation programs." Shooting victim Scott Harkness, 59, was discovered near Camelback and Hayden roads following a report of gunfire. "This is an incredibly sad thing that has happened... [we] are looking to help bring justice to him and the family and the community with our investigative efforts," Officer Aaron Bolin, a Scottsdale police spokesman, told KTAR News 92.3 FM on Monday. According to a press release, the funds afford the equipment to support the Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS) system. TraCS, an electronic citation and collision reporting program, is used by law enforcement across the country. The system speeds up the scanning and printing of documents in their cars on the scene.
