Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today: An officer-involved shooting took place on Monday night in Phoenix. Phoenix police are investigating the incident, which occurred near 27th Avenue and McDowell Road. The public was asked to avoid the area while police investigated the active scene. Ahead of the 2022 season, the department is currently struggling to find people to safely open the cities 29 public pools.
