TUSCALOOSA, AL — Pizza Hut has returned to the northern side of the Black Warrior River on McFarland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa after a hiatus lasting almost two years. The two eateries also share the outlet with Jimmy John's. The location, which saw the build-out of the concept begin last November, will no doubt be a busy one, positioned near the city limits of Northport. The new location is a small, express-style restaurant that features very limited seating, but also includes a drive-thru pickup window. Pizza Hut's last traditional "sit-down" location on McFarland Boulevard in Northport closed in late 2020, leaving the longtime Pizza Hut to-go location in south Tuscaloosa and the Pizza Hut Express on the University of Alabama campus as the only other franchises in the area.
