Press release from Mountain Brook Schools: February 7, 2022 February 7, 2022 – The Mountain Brook High School Dorians advanced to Finals at Universal Dance Association's National Dance Team Championship this past weekend and finished in a historic 5th Place in the Large Varsity Kick Division. This comes on the heels of bringing home lots of hardware at regional dance competitions on January 29 & 30: Universal Dance Association's Magic City Dance Challenge (Saturday at Thompson HS) 1st Place - Varsity Kick 3rd Place - Varsity Game Day Dance Team Union's Regional Dance Championship (Sunday at Spain Park HS) 1st Place - Varsity Kick 1st Place - Varsity Spirit Showdown Specialty Award - Outstanding Artistry - Kick GRAND CHAMPIONS - Given to the "most outstanding routine of the day, as determined by DTU" Congratulations to the Dorians on all of their success and hard work.
