Let's play music that people like to listen to

I'd like to put together a group of people who want to play small venues around town by just playing some good music. I'm a singer, and am picturing something with tight harmonies and maybe a few acoustic instruments (guitar / banjo / uke / bass) - covers of the Be Good Tanyas, Wailin' Jennys, Gillian Welch, the O Brother soundtrack, Mountain Man, and maybe some cool 90s covers that would sound good with whatever instruments we have. I have a practice space in downtown Chapel Hill, and would like to rehearse one night a week (perhaps more if working up to a show) and gig on weekends. After excellent musical ability (the #1 requirement), other requirements include reliability, desire and tenacity to work toward sounding really tight, and ability to work collaboratively toward a shared goal: making great music. Must be vaxxed and be willing to wear a mask inside until this thing blows over (hopefully soon).
