Position Details: • This position will teach you how to operate excavation equipment • The apprentice assists Equipment Operators by performing assigned tasks under the direct supervision of an assigned Operator or Supervisor • Prior to operating equipment, will assist in routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs • Maintains records of time worked and materials used • Performs other related duties as assigned • Competitive wages based on experience • 40+ hours per week during spring, summer, and fall Required Skills/Abilities: • No experience required • Valid driver’s license and must have a clean driving record • Class A license is preferred, however not required • Knowledge of soils and compaction a plus • Ability to read construction staking or the willingness to learn • A basic understanding of plan reading or the willingness to learn • Basic construction surveying knowledge or the willingness to learn • Willingness to understand and accept safety standards • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form • Must maintain flexibility in the schedule during the busy season • Willingness to work hard and be reliable Benefits: • Health and dental insurance with optional Health Savings Account • USAble supplemental insurances • Retirement plan with company match • Employer-paid life insurance Click here to apply:
