The Cupids & Canines MEGA Adoption Event featuring 300 adoptable animals from 24 local shelters and rescues THIS SATURDAY, February 12th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Grossmont Center in La Mesa! (Not in the parking lot....it is INSIDE the main corridor of the mall, all the way from Target on one end to Walmart on the other end) Bring the whole family to meet your newest best friend and the love of your life! With hundreds to choose from, you're sure to find your perfect match. Each rescue group has their own adoption procedures and adoption fees. So please bring references, veterinarian phone numbers, etc, so you can fill out adoption applications at the event. All rescue groups are registered 501c3 non-profits and are required to spay, neuter, fully vaccinate and provide medical records before adoption. Most will also require a home-check before final adoption. They will not disappear after the adoption, leaving you with a sick pet and a collection agency vet bill.
