Or, we can just get tight, play local and sell our music online. I just want to front a solid band again and see what can happen. I'm primarily an emcee/lyricist, but I've got an above-average, soulful singing voice and good range, so I'd like to write some different stuff than I have in the past and work with musicians who like to sing and harmonize. This is some of the stuff I've done recently, but I've got a lot more recorded with other bands I'd like to re-do with a new crew, and write some new songs together, too. I live in Imperial Beach but I can travel. By the way, I've played with musicians for over 20 years but it's been really difficult to connect with people here in SD. You don't need to 'play rap' as I hear so often. That's such a limited frame of thinking. Imagine just sitting in a room, the drummer starts with something off the dome and the session just builds from there.
