"Grunge", "Indie", "Alternative"? No Such Thing

Sorry, but there is no such style of music as Grunge, Indie, nor Alternative. If you write a good song great! But it is either rock, country, folk, classical, jazz or blues. If you are loud, rude and vulgar you are probably Punk Rock. If you play songs in a variety of time signatures you are probably Progressive Rock. If you use a huge amount of distortion, you are probably Heavy Metal or Industrial Rock. A rose by any other name is still a rose.
