Description
About a year and a half ago my family purchased a pair of zebra finches from the pet store. A few months ago, the female finch laid eggs, of which one successfully hatched and has since grown into a male finch. Fast forward to the end of December 2021, when despite our close monitoring of the nest, the couple managed to lay more eggs without us noticing, of which two hatched and have grown into two cuties. This makes a family of 5, of which 3 are male and 2 female. We love these beautiful birds dearly but it's easy to see that they have outgrown their cage and are in need of a lot more space to be happy and anxiety-free (the oldest son and the father don't get along well and chase each other around sometimes. We think it's a territorial issue probably.)
We're finally ready to say goodbye to these cuties and find them a new, better, bigger home; something we're unable to provide despite our desire to. We know they would be happiest if they end up going to a home where they *ideally* can fly freely in a room or even the entire house, though we understand this isn't something most people can accommodate. If you own a a very large (or large enough) cage and live in a house that is peaceful and free of loud noises, where you will be able to tend to these birds' needs and provide them with a rich diet and very gentle loving, please get in touch. We have some accessories that will be included.
Serious inquiries only! If you cannot meet the needs I have listed above, at least for the most part, don't bother to get in touch. These birds mean a lot to us and we want the very best for them.
For the right person, I might even throw in some extra cash. That's how important it is to me that they find the right home.
We thank you for your consideration.
