Hello! We are with the local WoodShare for Veterans group & have been a local resource going on 6 years now. We are here for Veterans & their families that are in need of firewood assistance to keep warm/cook, handling hazardous property situations or repairs, & fixing basic home safety issues (broken handrails, rotted porch steps, ect). This has been a rough year for us all! And with our volunteers mostly in the "high risk" range for community contact, our normal annual fundraisers have not done well, if even attempted. We have a growing list of families in need of firewood for their basic needs and have thought to publicly reach out via social media :) We would be grateful to take your recyclable cans for you & use the refunded amount that is collected from them as a donation to help keep saws, trucks & generators running & wood going out towards some of our local heros homes...
