Am Source is a division of PCHI under the Amscan Wholesale portion of the business.  We manufacture plastic plates, bowls, and cups for PCRG and other distributors so that you can have all your party supplies at one location.  We pride ourselves on providing a safe and happy environment for our employees and quality products for our customers use.  We want to be a party of your party.   Job Overview: The Manufacturing Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the maintaining and repairing on site machines.  In addition, the Manufacturing Industrial Mechanic is to keep machines in optimum condition to maximize the production output.  This requires keeping the machines in adjustment, knowing the different settings when changing product lines, maintaining quality and productivity of machines. Responsibilities and Duties: Service, repair, adjust and test machines, devices, moving parts and equipment that operate on the basis of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic principles Troubleshoot, install and repair systems Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of industrial machinery or equipment Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas Ensure daily completion of maintenance work orders Comply with all corporate policies and OSHA rules while carrying out daily functions Skills Required: 5+ years’ experience in all aspects of Maintenance Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance Knowledgeable in troubleshooting, maintaining electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems Knowledge and enforcement of machine safety, i.e., lock-out/tagout procedures, hand tool safety, etc. Qualifications: Training in electrical/mechanical maintenance Industrial Technicians encouraged to Apply     ADA Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb up and down ladders and work in tight spaces Ability to use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry and manipulate materials and tools Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb constantly throughout the shift Ability to reach, bend, twist, rotate, push and pull frequently Ability to work independently as well as a team player  Additional Information: Am-Source, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, religion, martial or partnership status, or any legally protected characteristics.
