This cat has a sad story because he was surrendered to the Humane Society just recently on February 4 because his owner died. Sweet and he is five years old and is a brown/black striped tabby. His right ear is a cauliflower ear which means he had some type of infection in it early in life. Oliver has FIV which means he was bitten by another infected cat earlier in his life( Mating and biting is how it is passed by cats and only cats can get FIV (DOES NOT TRANSFER TO PEOPLE)) They can live a long and healthy life -it just means they have a weak immune system so do not let him outside to eat squirrels! He is totally healthy and a FIV cat can live with other cats. He went to live in a cage at Palm Coast Petsmart 24/7 on February 8 and wonders when he will get out of a cage and into a home again.., Please come rescue this resilient guy! Neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and the adopter gets a free vet visit upon adoption within ten days.
