Our biogas plant, the first of its kind in the U.S., converts all of our agricultural waste into electricity, generating twice the amount that we need to run the farm. SHIFT: All shifts available! OUTCOMES Complete equipment repair and ongoing maintenance of food processing plant equipment Diagnose problems, codes, execute necessary repairs; change fluids & filters as needed when time for service; test and setup Performs mechanic skills including, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and repairs Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to supervisor Provide routine information to and solicits situation specific information company wide from employees, managers and external relationships and general inquiries Internal customer service is key to this role! Ability to exhibit strong communication and effective solutions QUALIFICATIONS Three to five years' experience repairing and maintaining equipment and machinery required Experience in a food processing environment Safety and security-aware and knowledgeable Ability to work independently and ability to take initiative Degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred Experience in welding preferred The statements made in any and all of the position postings are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
