Description

Northwest Polymers is looking for a part-time (12 hours a week) PM technician. This person executes scheduled preventative maintenance of all machines (grinders, extruders, compressors, shredders, and chillers) and performs skilled to semi-skilled tasks in the cleaning, lubrication, alignment, inspection, and minor repairs to the equipment. The person would be responsible for two locations located 12 miles apart. Principle Responsibilities: • Grease bearings and replace bearings as needed • Check and replace belts as needed • Clean and change filters • Blow off machines • Check conveyor belts Minimum Education: HS diploma/GED Experience: 3 years experience with industrial PM work required Wage $22 - $24 per hour Required Skills • Effective oral and writing skills • Practical application-related mechanical equipment preventive maintenance tasks such as controls, pumps, motors, compressors, chillers, etc. • Be able to work independently.
