DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — Three people are dead following a shooting in Dearborn Heights on Saturday. According to a report by The Detroit News, a suspect and two victims are among the dead. Dearborn Heights police tweeted about the shooting earlier on Saturday, advising residents to avoid the area near Cherry Hill and Inkster roads while officers investigated. **Please stay out of the area of Cherry Hill/Inkster Rd. The suspect shot two people before firing at responding officers. The suspect was killed during the incident, the report said. Neighbors told the newspaper they saw a neighbor on the back balcony with an AK-47. Names of the suspect and victims have not been released.
