1 Dead After Thousand Oaks Car Crash

THOUSAND OAKS, CA — One person was killed and another suffered fatal injuries in a Thousand Oaks car crash Thursday afternoon, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. The two-vehicle accident took place on at the intersection of East Hillcrest Drive and Quinta Vista Drive at 1:50 p.m., according to Captain Brian McGrath of the Ventura County Fire Department. McGrath said that one vehicle was reported to be on fire, but was no longer burning by the time crews arrived. The intersection around Hillcrest Drive around Quinta Vista Drive was closed as of 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a dispatcher from the Thousand Oaks Police Department. #HillcrestTC; 2 vehicle accident 1 person in critical condition and 1 suffered fatal injuries.
